Back to the Cat House

BACK TO THE CAT HOUSE
Oct. 1, ‘07
The remainder of the return trip was uneventful and that was just fine. It continued to rain until we reached Carcassonne and headed back across the mountain. Each day the colors change more to the Fall yellow, orange and red. Even the sky takes on a pinkish tinge in the late afternoon. Some of the cloud formations are spectacular.
The Three Tartes in France are back together in the Cat House and the tales begin to be spun of the adventures of we three over the last couple of days. We laugh and giggle and the tales get better. Pat is not feeling well. She is exhausted so off she goes for a nap. Catherine comes in to invite us to join Christoph, Phil, and several others to join them for a welcome dinner for a new artist/painter, Daria Davidson. Daria is originally from New Orleas but now resides in the San Francisco area. She will be at Cat Art for the next 3 months and hopes to get a visa to remain much longer. We each prepared a dish and brought our beverage of choice…..fine wine and my bottle of water. I would not embarrass anyone and bring my usual bottle of milk for dinner. We gathered at Josep’s house on his wonderful outdoor patio which has a table which will set at least 30 guests.
We made it an early evening, midnight, because everyone was tired and tomorrow is a work day for Catherine and Christophe.
